BEFORE & DURING YOUR BUILD
An initial brief can usually be prepared remotely from your drawings, photographs, measurements and a discussion of your aims. We record the scope, identified risks, assumptions, practical options and detailed next steps, so independent builders and trades can understand the proposed work and what still needs checking. Where commissioned, we can help gather and compare quotations and organise appointment information.
We recommend site attendance or specialist investigation where an identified risk or information gap needs further evidence before reliable advice can be given. Where design is required, the brief records practical options and buildability considerations for the designer or engineer to assess, helping avoid unnecessary specification and repeated redesign or pricing. Unknown conditions remain explicit; the brief does not replace required investigations, design calculations or approvals.
Continuing administration can include decision records, reported progress, written changes and payment information. The scope and reporting frequency are agreed with you.
Design, statutory approvals, specialist advice and physical construction are provided under their relevant separate appointments.
